Affirmation
"I do not chase my good — I receive it, and I let it flow through me."
The Moon has slipped from Aquarius into Pisces, and the shift is one you feel in the body before the mind can name it — the bright, visioning clarity of the past days dissolving into something quieter and wetter and more inward, the way a long-held breath finally lets go and becomes water. Where Aquarius showed us the wide horizon, the whole human family standing in the field together, Pisces softens the edges of that vision until it stops being a thought and becomes a feeling moving through the chest.
Mercury rests in Cancer now and reaches toward this Pisces Moon in a gentle trine, water answering water, which means the words for what you have been carrying wordlessly tend to arrive on their own — unforced, unrehearsed, the way the tide returns to the shore without ever being summoned. This is not a day to push the river. This is a day to let the river carry what it already knows how to carry.
The deeper teaching beneath this Moon is the one I keep returning to, the one that undoes the whole exhausting project of chasing: the good was never out ahead of us, waiting to be caught. Ernest Holmes wrote that all of God's gifts are given as freely and fully as the air and the sunshine, and a Pisces Moon is the night the truth of that sentence finally softens past the intellect and reaches the place where it can actually be received. You do not earn the air. You breathe, and you give thanks, and you let what fills you move outward to bless whatever it touches.
Honor the one tender edge of the day — the Pisces Moon brushes Uranus, and that contact can stir a restlessness, a sudden shift of mood, a pull to decide something quickly. Let the decision wait. Restlessness under this Moon is not a signal to act; it is a signal to rest, to drink water, to pray, to move slowly through the ordinary hours and let the inner waters settle until they grow clear on their own.
This is a being-with day far more than a doing day. The work, if there is work, is simply to receive — to sit in appreciation for what is already given, to loosen the grip, and to trust that the current you are resting in is the same current that flows through you to reach the whole.
A Prayer for the Pisces Moon
"Spirit, I loosen my hands. I stop reaching for what is already mine, and I let myself be filled the way the morning is filled with light — without effort, without earning, without end. Let me rest in the sufficiency already given, and let everything that flows into me flow out again to bless the whole. And so it is."
